Rick Sutcliffe is Professor of Computer Science and Mathematics at Trinity Western University (7600 Glover Rd., Langley BC CANADA V2Y 1Y1) Before joining the University, he taught High School Math, Physics, and Computer Science for twelve years. He has written monthly columns for computer and high tech magazines, and as well as numerous other articles and reviews for a variety of publications. He has represented Canada on the international committee charged with producing the standard for Modula-2 since its inception in 1987 and has taught and written in the language since 1983. His other publications include materials on ethical and social issues in technology, and some fiction.
